Graveside services for Mr. Dale Brooks of Mountain Home, Ark., will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, at Sample Cemetery in Morris, Ill.

Mr. Brooks died at the age of 84 Monday, Sept. 6, 2010, at Baxter Regional Medical Center. Dale was born May 10, 1926, in Morris, Ill., the son of Edward and Edna (Welton) Brooks. He married Maxine McTague on March 6, 1948, at Crown Point, Ind. He worked as a farmer.

Dale lived in Mountain Home, Ark., for 13 years, moving from Morris, Ill., in 1997.

Surviving are three sons, Timothy (Renee) Brooks of Gainesville, Mo., Larry (Kathy) Brooks of Downs, Ill., and Bruce Brooks of California; a daughter, Wendy (Brian) Delrose of Mazon, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and a sister.

Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of North Central Arkansas.
