Musician, Songwriter and Producer. Smith, a keyboardist, was a founding member of the band Jamiroquai. He released five albums with the British band between 1992 and 2002. They were best known for songs like 'Deeper Underground', 'Virtual Insanity' and 'Space Cowboy'. Vocalist Jay Kay formed the band with Smith, Stuart Zender, Nick Van Gelder and Wallis Buchanan in 1992. Smith recorded and toured with the band through 2002, before leaving to spend more time with his family. He owned Angelic Recording Studios and managed and produced several acts including the English pop-rock band, The Hoosiers, and he co-produced and co-wrote several songs for Matt Cardle's third album, 'Porcelain'.
