Dorothy (Dot) Leaming, of Holly, went to be with the Lord on April 12, 2017. She was born in Pontiac on June 26, 1923 to Campbell and Dorothy Harvey.
After college she was a social worker for public schools. She enjoyed her work for many years and met long time friends along her path, one of many things she enjoyed. She was a member of the historical society and maintained the flowers at Hadley Museum for many years. She was a member of Holly Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed going to functions and being a pillar of the church and the Holly community. She will be sadly missed by many.
She is survived by granddaughter Amber Leaming, great-grandkids; Trenton, Drake and Trinity. She was preceded in death by both her children Hugh Leaming and Mary Blumenshein.
A memorial service will be held at Holly Presbyterian Church 11:00 AM on Sat. April 22, 2017 with Rev. Sharlyn Gates officiating.
