Judy L. Buchanan, 61, of Waterloo died Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at UnityPoint-Allen Hospital in Waterloo.

She was born May 27, 1955 in Waterloo, daughter of Orvin and Pauline (Potter) Schoville.

She married Paul Buchanan on June 9, 1973 at Grace Lutheran Church in Waterloo.

She graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1973 and received an Accounting Certificate from BIT in Cedar Falls. She was employed as a Teller Service Representative with Veridian Credit Union.

Survived by: her husband of Waterloo; three sons, Carl (Amy) Buchanan of Waterloo, Eric Buchanan of Cedar Falls, and Adam Buchanan of Phoenix, AZ; four grandchildren, Kyle and Jacob Buchanan, Rhea Buchanan, and Jake Huffman; a sister, Kathy (Lowell) Redding of Waterloo; and a brother, Steven Schoville of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by: her parents.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Richardson Funeral Service, Cedar Falls, and also for one hour prior to the service at the church.
