Born on December 19th, 1949 in Red Bluff, California, Janet was the first of three daughters born to Lemuel and Beverly Cleland. She attended Rio Americano High School. She was employed at the McClellan Air Force Base BX for 23 years as a cashier and clerk and recently retired due to illness.
She loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She enjoyed gardening, shopping and watching her favorite TV shows. She will forever be remembered for her unconditional love, amazing strength and determination.
She is survived by her companion Larry Busby, sons Matthew Arnold (Jill) and Darrell Busby (Rachelle), sisters Virginia Ward (Greg) and Patricia Arnold (Bob), nephew James Bryan (Maria) and grandchildren Haley Busby, Cole Busby, and Bree Arnold. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Clifford Arnold, and daughter Christina Busby.
A graveside service for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, May 18th at 10am at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks, California.
