Delores Ann Hemann, age 77, of Austin, died Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.

Delores was born January 26, 1940 in New Haven, Iowa to John and Luella (McCann) Foxen. She grew up outside of New Haven and graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic School there.
On October 7, 1961 she married Urban J. Hemann. The couple lived in New Haven and later moved to McIntire, Iowa and eventually to Austin, Minnesota.

Delores was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin. She enjoyed her family, her pets, canning, and shopping: especially the HyVee deals and Fuel Perks.

Survivors include her 6 children, all of Austin; 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, siblings, many nieces and nephews, special Angel.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Urban; brothers, Bob, Bud, Leo, Don; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Albert, Helen Dunn, Fritz, Margaret.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 am on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Father Jim Steffes officiating. There will be a 4 pm CCW rosary on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Mayer Funeral Home where friends may call from 4-7 pm. Interment will be in St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in New Haven, Iowa.
