Jimmie L. Madden age 78, died Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center after an extended illness.

Born in West Portsmouth, OH, he was a son of the late Jacob and Bettie Lee Madden.

Mr. Madden was always full of life; He was a U. S. Army veteran and loved the Ohio State football team and Nascar. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Sidney R. Madden and Randy Madden.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Mary Frances Madden; his children, Anthony Madden of Myrtle Beach, Karen Crable of Myrtle Beach, Jennifer DeBock (Michael) of Myrtle Beach and Beth Sahr (Jeff) of NC; six grandchildren, Mary Beth Kuenzli and Steffanie Corning of MN, Riley and Avery DeBock of Myrtle Beach, Jacob and Brittany Madden of FL; eight great grandchildren and one brother, Warren Madden of AL.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel with Pastor Ronnie Byrd officiating. Burial will follow at Ocean Woods Cemetery.
