"My Most Favorite Place"

by Alan W. Goodale

Not too far away hence
I don't delay to get away
Such a quiet and peaceful place
Looking out to sea
Watching and listening to the waves roll ashore
With such smoothness and grace like a ballerina dancer
The sound of fish going "cur splash"
After jumping through space
Such a wonderful place my favorite place.

He was a master auto mechanic/technician. He loved working on cars and solving the odd problems. He enjoyed restoring and showing classic Dodge cars. He also enjoyed fishing in the Gulf and sports, especially Dunedin High School football. He enjoyed sharing memories of playing on the DHS football team. But most of all, he enjoyed the time he spent with friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Worthington Goodale and Winifred "Freddie" Bryant Goodale, and his sister, Susan. He is survived by his sister, Sondra, and nieces and nephew. He is also survived by his cousin, Jeff Bryant. He is remembered by very special friends.

At his request, no service was held, and his ashes were scattered in the Gulf of Mexico.

A scholarship in his name has been established at Dunedin High School.
