Nathaniel Elmer Risner, son of the late Henry and Nanny Casey Risner, was born June 30, 1885 in Oregon Co., MO, and departed this life January 8, 1967 in West Plains, MO, at the age of 81 years, 6 months and 9 days. He was married to Laura Stark in Oregon Co., MO; and to this union six children were born.
Survivors include two sons, Leonard Risner of Jonesboro, AR; and Bascom Risner of Kansas City, MO; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Woolford of Springfield, MO; and Mrs, Mable Morris of Branson, MO; one brother, Arden Risner of Thayer, MO; five sisters, Nova Morris and Violet Risner, of Springfield, MO; Edith Russell of Mammoth Spring, AR; Flora Anderson of Sioux City, IA; Mrs. Cozette Combs of Saint Louis, MO; and two grandchildren.
Interment was in Clifton Cemetery, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Thayer, MO.
