Olivia Julia Whittington Murphy LADSON – Olivia Murphy, 19, of Ladson, SC passed away on April 4, 2017. Liv was born on February 5, 1998, in Portsmouth, NH, to her parents, Julia Whittington Singleton and Brian Patrick Murphy. She was a graduate of Ashley Ridge High School class of 2016. Liv fought the courageous Cystic Fibrosis fight since birth. Her strength was unmatched. Olivias role as eldest sister to her five brothers and sisters was her greatest joy. She could brighten a room with her smile and quick wit.
She was a lover of dance, Thanksgiving dinners, and spent her life educating others on Cystic Fibrosis.
Survivors include her father, Brian Patrick Murphy of Ladson, SC, and her mother and step-father Julia and John Singleton of Ladson, SC; sisters, Amy and Ella Murphy, and Jolie Singleton; brothers, Mason Hildreth and Jack Singleton; grandparents, Geri Whittington of Charleston, SC, Donald and Diane Murphy of Litchfield, NH, and Patsy Singleton of Hannahan, SC; aunts and uncles, Janice and Brian Roberts of Billerica, MA, Allison and Jason Iannuzzi of Acton, MA, Jodi Pearson Kolosey of Wells, ME, Michael Vigue of Wells, ME, Jeanne and David Caison of Macedonia, SC , Amy and Mark Smith of North Charleston, SC; cousins, Kaitlyn, Jonathan and Christopher Roberts, Joshua, Luke, and Noah Ianuzzi, Abigale and Carter Vigue, and Robert, Haley, and Emily Caison . Her memorial service will be held at 11:00, Saturday, April 08, 2017, at Cooper River Baptist Church, 1059 Crawford Ave. North Charleston, SC, 29406 (843)747-7389. The family asks that all attending the memorial service “come as you are, as Liv knew you”in casual attire to include CF purple, scrubs, or Cystic Fibrosis Tshirts.
