Mrs. Clay was preceded in death by her step-son, Billy Joe Clay.
She was a member of Beaver Creek Advent Christian Church. Mrs. Clay was also associated with Lone Eagle Riding Club and enjoyed doing charity runs, especially the children’s runs. She was on the Emergency Response Team at Shurtape and was known for her willingness to help others by volunteering with the Soup Kitchen and United Way.
In addition to her husband and parents she is survived by her daughter, Samantha Ward of Hudson; step-son, Jason Clay of West Virginia; sisters, Lesa Marley Hahn and husband, Jason, of Granite Falls and Ashley Marley Eller husband, Matthew, of Kathleen, GA; and numerous other relatives.
The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Friday, April 14, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
A celebration of Mrs. Clay’s life will be held at Beaver Creek Advent Christian Church on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 3:00 PM with Pastor David Blythe officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
