Death of Mrs McGirr
Mrs Catherine McGirr died at her home on Columbia Ave at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon after an illness of eight weeks in which she was confined to her bed. The deceased was seventy-five years old and made her home with her daughter, Miss Dollie. She was the widow of the late Arthur McGirr who was killed at Valley Crossing twenty-two years ago. She is also survived by Mrs Moen H Wayne and Mrs John Weigle, sister, McKeesport, Pa. The funeral will take place from St Patrick's Catholic Church Monday morning.
