Kyle Taylor Buchholz, age 27, Harrodsburg, fiancé of Rachel Brown, died Sunday, April 9, 2017 at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital in Harrodsburg.
Born August 10, 1989 in San Jose', CA. he was Christian, a 2008 graduate of Mercer County Senior High School in Harrodsburg and was employed at RR Donnelley and Sons Company in Danville and served six years in the US Army National Guard. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors other than his fiancée include: his mother, Angelia and Frank Eades of Harrodsburg; his father, Derrick and Trish Buchholz of London, KY; one daughter, Myiah Buchholz and one son, Kylan Buchholz both of Harrodsburg; one sister, Kaelyn Elizabeth Buchholz, London, and two brothers, Devin (Clarissa) Buchholz of Georgetown and Jacob Eades of Harrodsburg; his paternal grandparents, Ron (Sandy) Buchholz of OK; his maternal grandmother, Sharon Helphinstine of Carlisle; his maternal grandfather, Douglas Jackson of Harrodsburg; his step grandparents, Joyce and Charles Eades of Nicholasville; two uncles, Dave (Stacy) Buchholz of Lexington and Randy (Sally) Buchholz of Hollister, CA and two aunts, Sandy Eades and Stephanie Eades.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 15, at Sims Funeral Services by Bro. Lester Tirey. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery in Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Brooks, Jack Cagle, Brody Sallee, Tommy Brummett, Adam Russell, and C.J. Gibson.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 11:00 am until the time of service at Sims Funeral Services.
