Hazel Virginia Williamson, 95, of Lumberton went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents: W.C. and Lelia Richardson; sisters: Jeanette Fowler, Estelle Grooms; brothers: Irvin, Gene, and Junior Richardson. She is survived by sons: Kenneth Williamson of Lumberton, Paul Williamson and wife Lyn of Winterhaven, Florida; daughter-in-law: Beverly Williamson of Lumberton; sisters: Janice Richardson and Mable Fowler, both of Tabor City; grandchildren: Paul Williamson, Jr of Winterhaven, Renae Allende and husband Guilermo of Winterhaven, Ken Williamson II and wife Frankie of Lumberton, Angie Williamson of Lumberton; great-grandchildren: Kaleb, Justin, Jennifer, Jessica, Ashley, Isaac, and AJ.

Hazel was a true, Godly lady who loved her family and her church. She worked hard and provided for her two boys. She was employed with Jones store for many years, and retired from JC Penny at the age of 62. Hazel loved flowers and working in her yard. She had many wonderful years of loving everyone and keeping God first in her Christian life.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 2:30pm-3:45pm at Bethel Emmanuel Holiness Church in Bladenboro with a funeral service at 4pm. Rev. Jerry F. Smith, Rev. Hazel T. Smith, and Rev. Aaron Leonard will be officiating services. Burial will follow in Bladen Memorial Gardens in Elizabethtown
