Annie Mae (Albritton) “Ann” “Nana” Ashley, 93, of Dyersburg, formerly of Troy, died April 11, 2017, at the Highlands of Dyersburg Health and Rehab.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with Jeff Golson and Bobby Stewart officiating.

Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday from noon until the hour of services at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Tony Ashley, Greg Ashley, Nic Sudbury, Jeff Shults, Will Sudbury and Eric Meeks.

She was born April 24, 1923, in Nettleton, Ark., daughter of the late William Herman and Cora (Peevyhouse) Albritton. She married James Monroe “Buddy” Ashley June 7, 1941. He died Dec. 17, 1966. She was a retired production worker of the former Salant and Salant and Obion Manufacturing companies, where she worked for 37 years. She was of the Church of Christ faith.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Shaw of Dyersburg; her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Faye Ashley of Cookeville; five grandchildren, Lesa Shults of Dyersburg, LeAnn Sudbury of Union City, Tony Ashley of Smithville, Greg Ashley of Louden and Jennifer Rose of Nashville; six great-grandchildren; her great-great-grandson; her brother, Leroy Albritton of Cordova; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Grady Albritton; four sisters, Robbie Glisson, Aubrey Embrey, Wilma Milligan and Dorothy Woody; her granddaughter, Gina Hallgren; and her son-in-law, Klyce Shaw.
