James H. Amos, 74, of Findlay died at 4:20 AM May 29, 2014 at Blanchard Valley Hospital. He was born Feb. 27, 1940 to the late Edward and Gladys (Lowe) Amos in Columbus. He is survived by his significant other, Betty Taylor; five daughters, Debra, Linda, Brenda, Kathy and Jamie, step-children: Nancy Barber, Diana Adkins, Richard Bovee, Sandra Bovee and Christopher Bovee, 26 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Robert J. Bishop. Jim had worked for TMT Enterprise as an over the road truck driver. He was a member of the AMVETS, American Legion, DAV, Ohio Military Reserve 42nd Battalion and the National Guard.
