Sarah J. (Wilson) Bradford, 92, of Martinsville, died at 11:57 a.m. April 29, 2001, at her residence. She had lived in Morgan County since 1924.

The daughter of Lewis and Nannie B. (Copley) Huff, both deceased, she was born Nov. 5, 1908, in Liberty, Ky. She married Cornel E. Wilson Dec. 24, 1929. He died Aug. 3, 1986. She married George C. Bradford Jr. June 6, 1988. He survives in Martinsville.

Mrs. Bradford was a homemaker and a member of Willow Grove Nazarene Church in Martinsville.

Her hobbies include gardening, cooking and quilting.

Other survivors include a son, Richard L. Wilson of Martinsville; two daughters, Glenda Poore and Ann LaMar of Monrovia; two stepsons, Roger Bradford and Raymond Bowers, both of Mooresville; two stepdaughters, Marie Ridner and Darlene Somers, both of Martinsville; five grandchildren, Richard LaMar, Jane Hamilton, Diana Pearson, Mark Wilson and Anita Worth; several stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren and several stepgreat-grandchildren.

A son, Clifford D. Wilson (5-3-95); a brother, John Huff; two sisters, Lue Hatter and Ethel Zumpe ; and one great-grandchild, preceded her in death.

The service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Neal & Summers Mortuary. The Rev. Don Richards will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery at Hall.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 o'clock today and one hour prior to funeral service on Wednesday at the mortuary.
