Peggy Fielden Price, of Knoxville, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 to be with her Savior. She was the daughter of the late Lester and Eva Fielden. An accomplished musician, Peggy played the organ and piano for Washington Pike Baptist Church, as well as other churches in the Knoxville area for over 44 years. She was a 1957 graduate of Fulton High School. Peggy retired from the Knoxville City Schools and Knox County Schools in the administrative offices. In addition, she also ran a catering business for 10 years.

A 25 year cancer survivor, she is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jim Price; aunt, Ruth Snelson; children, Pamela Witt (Vernon), Russ Price (Lucinda W.); grandchildren, Logan Quinton (Elizabeth), Chelsea and Sam Price, Brain Witt (Jessica) and Terry Hodges (Nathan); great-grandchildren, Samantha and Mary Witt, Lilli and Tucker Hodges and Landry Quinton; brother, Jack Fielden (Joyce) and their son Mike.

The funeral service for Mrs. Price will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Berry-Lynnhurt Funeral Home with Rev. Kent Williams, officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until the service hour. The graveside service will be held on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Lynnhurst Cemetery. Everyone is asked to assemble at the gravesite by 10:45 a.m. for the service. The family would like to thank Dr. Allan Grossman and Jamie for their special care and support.
