James R. Stagner Jr.

James Ray Stagner Jr., 61, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017 at his home with his family by his side.
James was born August 30, 1955 in Tooele, Utah a son of Beulah Swan and James Ray Stagner, Sr.
He graduated from Box Elder High School.
Jim married his sweetheart Mary Alcocer on February 3, 1973 in Brigham City, UT, they were married for 44 years.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Jim worked at Tramcor for 30 years as a truck driver.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, being with his grandchildren and family. Always loved to help and serve others.
Surviving are his wife Mary; daughters: Lisa (Jim) Groberg; Melissa (KC) Jones; eight grandchildren: Jessica, Zachary, Makayla, Tiffany, Cameron, Spencer Groberg, Sierra and Kirsten Lucas; two great-grandchildren: Jackson Rich, and Max Luhman. Also siblings Randy Hurley; Sharon Benedict; Donna Westover; and Brent Hurley.
Preceded in death by his father James Ray Stagner Sr, mother Beulah Hurley and his sister Linda McCurdy.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the West Stake Center, 895 N. 625 W., Brigham City, UT.
Viewings will be Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT and on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:40 a.m. at the Church.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
