BEARD, MATTHEW W., age 21, of Sanford, Florida passed away Friday, December 29, 2006 at Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach, Florida from injuries following an accident caused by a drunk driver. Matt was born January 20, 1985 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Matthew graduated from Lake Mary High School in 2003, he was a senior at Florida State University with his studies as a marine biologist. Matthew is survived by his mother, Connie Beard of Sanford; his maternal grandparents, William and Catherine Beard of Winter Park; uncles, Glenn (Shannon) Beard of Orlando; Bill Beard of Philadelphia, PA; aunts, Ruth Barrett of Philadelphia, PA and Linda White of Lecanto, Florida; Matt is also survived by his Long time girlfriend, Lucy Paine of Enterprise, Florida. Arrangements entrusted to COLLISON FAMILY FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATORY HOWELL BRANCH CHAPEL, Winter Park.
