Edna Reams

Edna Padgett Reams, 71, of Covington, formerly of Waynesburg, died Monday, December 29, 1980 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Covington, after an illness of several weeks.

Born on October 27, 1909, in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late Ransom and Fannie Shoupe Padgett.

She attended a Pentecostal church.

Her husband, Walter J. Reams, preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, Fred of Cincinnati, and Jim Reams of Covington; three brothers, Virgil, Elmer and Tom Oran Padgett, all of Waynesburg; a sister, Hazel Padgett of Waynesburg; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services were held Thursday at The Miracle Church, Waynesburg, by the Rev. A. F. Peninger with burial in Double Spring Cemetery.

Barnett Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
