Daughter of Kenneth A. and Christine Linn Ward.
Married Donald M. Morrison July 10, 1949 at Crawfordsville. He preceded her in death May 16, 2000.
Survivors include daughter Linda (Steve) Powers; son Greg (Nancy) Morrison; grandchildren Tiffany (Mike) Roost, Michael (Nicole) Morrison, Natalie (Michael) Ward and Alyssa (Ed) McGaughey; great-grandchildren Steven, Mackenzie and Tristan Roost, Lauren, Garrett and Carter Morrison, Dean and Elouise McGaughey, Mason and Riley Ward.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and sisters Donas and Evelyn Ward.

1949 graduate of Crawfordsville High School.

Martha Ellen had worked several years in the late 1960s at the Sportsman Shop and then in 1967 became the co-owner with her husband of Morrison Automotive, retiring in 1991.

She was a member of the Whitesville Christian Church, where her family had been one of the founding families.

She had been a member of the Athens Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star; was a Pink Lady and a Vanity Theater board member.

She enjoyed cooking; baking; crafts; sewing, having made 300 bears from donated coats; and in general doing lots of volunteer work in the community. She also was very involved in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s activities.

Funeral services 10:30am Friday, April 14 at Whitesville Christian Church, Crawfordsville with the Rev. Michael Whitacre officiating.
Visitation 4:30-8:30pm Thursday at the church.

Memorial donations to the Vanity Theater, Crawfordsville, IN or to Whitesville Christian Church.
