Nellie "Jeanette" Watts, age 74, of Nauvoo, Walker County, Alabama passed away at her residence on April 8th, 2017. Mrs. Watts was born on September 2, 1942,in Lynn, Winston County, Alabama. She was a member of Ashbank Freewill Baptist Church. Jeanette retired as a cafeteria manager at Lynn High School after 18 years of service. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 12-1 pm at Ashbank Freewill Baptist Church in Nauvoo, where services will be held at 1 pm, brother Leslie Sartin, officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. Jeanette is survived by her husband of 17 years, Larry Watts, daughters: Jena L. Alexander, and her husband Vincente J. & Cindy M. Martin, brothers: Jimmy Tidwell, and his wife Eulene, & Cecil Tidwell, & his wife Lillian, sister: Betty Elkins, & her husband James, & a host of nieces & nephews, She was "Maw Maw" to 8 grandchildren, & 2 step grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, & 1 step great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents: Benjamin Franklin, and Lucille Tidwell, brothers, Terry & Jerry Tidwell, and sisters: Elhura Myers, & Christine Clingan, & Nola Mae Garrison.
