Vernon Ray Ferguson, 67, of Milan, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2007, in Milan.

He was born on Sept. 6, 1939, to Vernon Arthur Ferguson and Elva Ferguson in Dove Creek, Colo.

Mr. Ferguson is survived by his children Tony Ferguson of Milan, Boyd Ferguson and wife Linda of Idabel, Okla., and Karen Dickerson of Dierks, Ark.; his father Vernon Arthur Ferguson of Ellington, Mo.; his brothers Curtis Ferguson of Cortez, Colo., Willis Ferguson of Grand Junction, Colo., Lemon Ferguson of Cortez, Colo., and Howard Ferguson of Winona, Mo.; his sister Reba Davis of Harrison, Ark.; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Fay Ferguson and his mother Elva Ferguson.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7, at Compassion Mortuary in Grants. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007, at Compassion Mortuary with pastor Dale Copeland officiating. Burial will follow in Dove Creek, Colo.

Pallbearers will be Tony Ferguson, Boyd Ferguson, Howard Ferguson, Steven Ferguson, Daniel Ferguson and Johnny Dickerson.

Compassion Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
