ROGERSVILLE -- Mrs. G. J. Lane, 80, widow of the late Dr. Lane, of 633 East Main Street, Rogersville, died late Tuesday evening [11/12/1974] at the Indian Path Hospital in Kingsport. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Rogersville.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Gayle Baker of Kingsport, Mrs. Charles Sheeler of Lexington, Ky., and Mrs. Joe C. David of Rogersville; four sons, Dr. Paul Lane, Dr. Joe Lane, Dr. Lynn Lane, all of Rogersville, and Dr. Don Lane of Atlanta, Ga.; 26 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren. Two sons, Lyle and George, preceded her in death.
Colboch-Price Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Mrs. G. J. Lane, widow ot the late Dr. Lane, of E. Main Street, Rogersville, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at at the United Methodist Church with Rev. Dale Bittinger officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. The body will be removed to the church one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Colboch-Price Funeral Home, Rogersville, is in charge of arrangements.
