Anthony Richard “Tony” Clements, 74, of Alamo, died on Friday, April 7, 2017 at the Community Hospice, Vidalia.
Tony was married to Linda Harrelson Clements. He was a member of the Glenwood Church of God; worked as a lineman for the Little Ocmulgee EMC for many years and was a truck driver.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Lois Flanders Clements and Marcus Clements; sister, Betty Kelly and a brother, Mark Clements.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, April 9th at the Shiloh United Methodist Church in Glenwood and the interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The Rev. Ronnie Saxon will officiate.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Clements of Alamo; children, Amy (Chris) Osborne of Austin, Tina Rebecca Burgess of Ludowici, Cayley Melinda Miller of Macon; step-children, John Anthony Higginbotham of Glenwood, Linda Kay (Jess) Dinkens of Glenwood; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 1 sister, Jo (John) McDaniel of Alamo.
In Lieu of Flowers, please donate to the church of your choice, Community Hospice in Vidalia, or Gideon’s.
The family will greet friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Saturday, April 8th at the funeral home.
