JEFFERSONVILLE A graveside service for Rhonda Maria Wells, 20, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Entombment will follow. Scott Funeral Home is handling arrangements. She was killed Sept. 12 in a wreck on Interstate 75 about 30 miles south of Florence, Ky.

WILLIAMSTOWN, Ky. Two Indiana women were killed and three others injured Thursday in a wreck on Interstate 75 about 30 miles south of Florence. Grant County Coroner Marylee Willoby said Rhonda Marie Wells, 20, of Jeffersonville, Ind., and Constance Maynard, 21, of Greenwood, both died at the scene. Darcy Wilkinson, of Rushville, Ind., was in serious condition last night at University Hospital in Cincinnati; Patricia Cooney, 20, of Thomaston, Ga., was in guarded condition at St. Luke Hospital in Florence; and Stacy Struble, of Elkhart, Ind., was dismissed yesterday from St. Luke Hospital. State police said Cooney was traveling north when she apparently lost control and was struck by a northbound tractor trailer driven by Russell Moss Jr., 63, of Georgetown. Moss was not injured. Wells was a student at Ball State University in Muncie and a member of New Washington Christian Church. She is survived by her father and stepmother, John and Jackie Wells of Jeffersonville; her mother, Donna Rae Wells of Ashland, Ky.; a sister, Paula Wells of Schaumburg, Ill.; a stepbrother, John Obermeier of Jeffersonville; and her fiance, Travis Givens of Grantham, Pa. The funeral is at 1 p.m. Monday at Scott Funeral Home in Jeffersonville, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home is from 5 to 9 p.m. today, from noon to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and after 9 a.m. Monday. The family requests that memorial gifts go to the Rhonda Wells Scholarship Fund, INB Banking Co., 560 Spring St., Jeffersonville, Ind., 47130.
