Services for Joseph Marion Riggs, 82, of Carrier Mills will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Cox Funeral Home in Rosiclare with the Revs. Glen "Bud" Hicks and Bruce Pitt officiating. Burial will be in Blackman Cemetery in Golconda.
Mr. Riggs died at 5 p.m. Monday at Harrisburg Medical Center.
Surviving are his wife, Rebecca Riggs; three sons, Joe Riggs of Elgin and William Leon Riggs and Willis Riggs, both of Carrier Mills; one daughter, Wilma Brown of Equality; and eight grandchildren.
His parents were Joe and Mary Bell Howard Riggs Patterson.
Friends may call after 6 this evening at the funeral home.
