Obituary
Again the death angel has visited our midst and taken away little Hugh Leroy Matlock, who was born August 27, 1919, and departed this life Jan. 9, 1926, age six years 4 months and 13 days.
He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed both in his school room and at home. He was stricken with scarlet fever and grew worse from day to day until death relieved his suffering.
He leaves his heart broken parents, two sisters and one brother: Mrs. Loyd Newburn of Cincinnati; Avis and Joel at home; also his grandfather Joel Lucas, and a hose of relatives and friends to mourn him.
