Roy Strait Died Sunday
Roy M. Strait, 80, died Sunday, August 17th at the Ness County Hospital. He had been in failing health several years. Born march 29, 1889, in Ness County, he married Anna Roth Dec. 16, 1908. She died May 15, 1961. He was a farmer and had lived in the Ness City area all his life.
Survivors include sons, Orville and Lester, Ness City; brother, Clarence, Kinsley; sister, Mrs. Lydia Cowles, Ft. Dodge; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral was held Wednesday at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City; Rev. Bert Hurst officiated. Burial was at the Ness City Cemetery.
