She had lived in Brookland for the past five years and the remainder of her life had been in Northeast Arkansas. She was a member of the Apt Community Church. Margie had worked as a CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) until she was 74. Her hobby was reading. She had read her Bible through several times and read it daily. Having been the child of an Assembly of God preacher, she studied God's word and was well versed on his passages.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerold Armstrong; parents, Lawrence and Mildred Foreman; four sons, Gary, Roger, Terry and Barry; three brothers; and one granddaughter, Britthney.
Survivors include daughters, Brenda Becker and Regina Kaut, both of Rogers, Deborah Hicks (Roy) of Brookland and Suzann Wilson and Veronica (Aaron) Dillehay, all of Jonesboro; daughter-in-law, Judie Armstrong of Huntsville, Ala.; brother, Gerald Foreman (Dolly) of Jonesboro; two people she claimed as children, Dale and Linda Davis; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial was in Mount Pisgah Cemetery
