Elizabeth Alta Deering, 82, of Belva passed away April 7, 2017.
Born January 27, 1935 in Swiss, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Thelma (Willard) Cressorn.
She was a member of the Swiss Baptist Church, where she served as Clerk and Treasurer.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Russell Deering of Belva; son, Michael Deering of Swiss; grandchildren, Harley Deering of Swiss and Mary Smith of Summersville, great-grandson, Wyatt Smith of Summersville; close friend, Mildred “Perk” Cresson; and niece, Kathy Brown of Belle.
The family would like to thank CAMC Memorial for their Kindness and care.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge. Burial will be in West Virginia Memorial Gardens, Calvin, WV.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 10, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Pennington Funeral Home.
Elizabeth was known to her family as Sis or Sissy.
