Dies In Hospital
Crisman, May 12 - Richard D. Nicholson, 59, a resident of the Crisman vicinity, died at 3:30 am Sunday in Porter Memorial hospital, Valparaiso, following a short illness.
The decendent was born in Miller, Ind., and had lived near Crisman praticallly all his life. He was a member of the Hope Lutheran church, Crisman.
Surviving are the widow, Bessie, one son, David of Gary; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Snyder, of Crisman; three grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Ruth Lindstrom, Gary; Mrs. Elsie Lindquist and Mrs. Lillian Dahlin of Crisman, Mrs. Edgar Howard of Hammond and three brothers, Martin Nicholson of Chesterton, and Peter and Edwin Nicholson, of Crisman. On son, Lynn, preceded his father in death in 1944.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday at the Hope Lutheran church, Crisman with the Rev. S. L. Klopfer officiating. Burial will be in McCool cemetery.
