Leslie Ann Bell, 69, of Clinton, IL passed away at 2:40 PM, April 6, 2017 at Manor Court, Clinton, IL.

Memorial services will be 10 AM, Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the Clinton United Methodist Church with Pastor Danny Cox officiating. Private family burial will take place at Mausoleum Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL at a later date. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the Clinton United Methodist Church, Home Sweet Home, Bloomington, IL or Cornerstone Christian Academy, Bloomington, IL.

Leslie was born March 21, 1948 in Barrington, IL the daughter of Paul and Charlotte (Wells) Speight.

Survivors include her daughter, Amy (Andrew) O’Neall, Downs, IL and son, Chris Bell, DeKalb, IL; 2 grandchildren, Abraham and Anna O’Neall, Downs, IL; brother, Kent (Linda) Speight, Red Wing, MN; and sister, Mary (Bob) Spain, Gurnee, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Leslie was a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University and a member of the Clinton United Methodist Church. She was a Trauma Nurse working in the ER at John Warner Hospital, Clinton, Il and OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, IL.

Leslie was also a Parrish Nurse for the Clinton United Methodist Church. Leslie enjoyed reading and traveling. She had traveled to Ireland and Israel. She was also a member of C.O.R.N. – the Clinton Old Retired Nurses. Leslie considered her friends her family and enjoyed spending time with them as well as supporting her grandchildren in all their activities.
