"Ernest F. Norfleet, 71, 128 Rolling Hill Drive, died Thursday, July 2, at Lake Cumberland Medical Center after a long illness.

The daughter of Marion and Margaret Foster Halcom, she was born July 8, 1909, at Nancy and was married Feb. 11, 1935, at East Somerset to Lorne Norfleet. Her husband survives.

Other survivors are a son, Gordon Norfleet, Pulaski; two daughters, Velda Acton, Eubank, and Linda Dagley, Somerset; a sister, Cora Weddle, Lincoln Park, Mich.; two grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.

A brother, Simpson Halcom, and four sisters, Pearl Brewer, Zola Hale, Grace Loveless, and Lora Halcom, preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Chesterview Baptist Church.

Services will be Saturday, July 4, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with the Reverends Wendell Butt and Harlan Avera officiating.

Burial will be in the Piney Grove No. 2 Cemetery at Nancy.

Visitation will begin after 6 p.m. today at the Pulaski Funeral Home."
