Delores "Dee" J. Morris, age 89, of Franklin, passed away at Community Hospital South on Wednesday, April 5, 2017.
Dee was born on February 11, 1928 in Knightsville, Indiana to the late Oscar and Grace (Siner) Latham. She retired from Walmart and enjoyed working in her yard and loved to knit.
Dee was preceded in death by her husband, James Kenneth Morris, four brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include children, Bill Schurick (Patricia) of Edinburgh, Linda Mitchell (Butch) of Cadiz, KY, Debra Baker (Glenn Eastes) of Edinburgh; James K. Morris II (Jan) of Edinburgh; Ronald E. Morris (Sabrina) of Nineveh and several grandchildren.
A funeral service for Dee will be held on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Wilson and St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Greenwood Chapel 481 W. Main Street Greenwood, IN. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of service at noon. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens Cemetery, Greenwood.
