September 1972 – Passage. Thelma Read Miller, 64, of 82 E. State Street, Lehi, died Sunday evening at her home of cancer. She was bron June 21, 1908 in Heber City, a daughter of Dr. H. R. Read and Maude E. Curry Read.

She married Clifford Miller on April 17, 1924 in Coalville, and the marriage later was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.

Active in the LDS Church, Mrs. Miller was in the Relief Society presidency and a teacher in the Primary and Relief Society in the Lehi Second Ward. She also was active in civic groups, being a member of the Athenian Literary Club, Ladies Lions Club and Lions Legislative Council.

Survivors include her husband, Lehi; four sons, Cliff Reed Miller, J. Dale Miller, Neil K. Miller, Craig A Miller; 17 grandchildren; one great grandchild; six sisters, Grace Read, Mrs. J. Lloyd (Dorothy) Carter, Mrs. O. F. (Kay) Fullmer, Mrs. H. Dale (Joan) Seal, Mrs. Wayne (Mary Jane) McDonald, Mrs. James (Annette) Bradley, and her stepmother, Mrs. Nora Read.

Services held Thursday, September 28, 1972 at the Wing Mortuary in Lehi. Interment in the American Fork City Cemetery.
