U.S. VeteranArthur A. Chasse, 45, of No. Main St., passed away October 14th at Mass. General Hospital. Born in Fall River, son of Sandra (Goncalo) Barlow and the late Arthur Moniz, Art graduated from Durfee High School, Class of 1990, and went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree at UMASS Dartmouth.
He has been serving his country for over 24 years starting with a tour in the Marines, then the Army and currently with the Air Force at Westover ARB in Chicopee. Arthur was also employed as a foreman at Spectrum Lighting here in Fall River.
Beloved father of Cassandra, Joshua and Zavier Chasse and Kiara Baptista; brother of Paul Chasse, Jr. (wife-Lisa), Jason and Robert Moniz, Romeo Marchand and the late Eva Goncalo, Lisa and Christopher Moniz. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal with military honors at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne MA.
