William "Norman" Godwin

Norman Godwin, 78, of Pensacola, FL passed away on April 2, 2017. He was born in Oak Grove, Escambia County to Robert and Elsie on October 18, 1937.
In 1987, he married the love of his life Carolyn and they were married for 29 years.
Norman attended United Methodist Church and practiced his faith.
Norman is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Elsie Godwin; and one of his brothers, Carl Godwin.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Godwin; two sons, Robert Kevin and Norman Godwin, Jr.; grandchildren, Danielle Mandel, Logan Godwin, Addison Godwin; one brother, Don (Bernadette) Godwin; and three sisters, Loraine Middlebrook, Bobbie (Oran) Baughn, Emma Robinson.
A special thanks to our loving mother, Barbara Lowery, for her care and kindness during this time. We are, especially, thankful for the staff and nurses at the Specialty Care Center, and for the great friends that Dad made there.
