Andy Andrewson, 78, of Fox, Arkansas passed away peacefully at his home on April 6, 2017. Andy was born on May 16, 1938 in Clyde, Kansas to the late Arnold and Dorla (Perkins) Andrewson. Andy proudly served his country in the United States Navy and retired after 20 years of service; upon retiring from the United States Navy Andy worked as a civil electrician at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska retiring after 20 years of service. Andy was a member of Antioch General Baptist Church and will be greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends.
Andy is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Mary Kay Andrewson of the home; one son, Pete Andrewson and wife Margo of Tomball, Texas; three brothers, Monty Andrewson and wife Jonny of Texas, TC Andrewson and wife Angela of Kansas, and Hans Andrewson and wife Ann of Kansas; three sisters, Jo Cibolski and husband Ron of Florida, Jill Retting of Kansas, and Sonja Taylor and husband Bob of Minnesota; and one granddaughter, Cameron Andrewson of Texas.
Andy was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Dorla (Perkins) Andrewson, and one brother, Tyrone Andrewson.
A memorial service honoring Andy's life will take place at a later date at Antioch General Baptist Church in Rushing.
