Keith N. Shirey
Funeral services for Keith N. Shirey, 41, a truck driver who died Sunday, will be held at 10:30 o’clock tomorrow in the Home Undertaking Co. chapel. Burial will be in Washelli.
Mr. Shirey, a native of Lincoln, Neb., came to Seattle in 1928. He resided at 4325 Seventh Ave. S.
Survivors are his wife, Carolyn; two daughters, Keithie Shirey, Seattle, and Betty Shirey, Centralia; four sons, Riley and Kip Shirey, both of Seattle, Daniel Shirey, Centralia, and Jack Shirey in the Navy; a stepson, Wesley Miller, Seattle; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Karen Howel, Halifax, Pa.; five sisters, Mrs. Jean Byl, Mrs. Nellie Seibert, Mrs. Bonnie West, and Mrs. Bess Berger, all of Seattle, and Mrs. Eugene Blosser, Roseburg, Ore., and four brothers, Gordon Shirey, Edmonds, Donald Shirey, Kirkland, George Shirey, Alderwood Manor, and Howard Shirey, Port Angeles.
Parents were Ulysses Alonzo Shirey 1916-1957 and Vera A Whittaker ca. 1884-1948.
Married Lois Virginia Anderson 15 May 1936 in Seattle. Later married Carolyn B. Miller on April 19 1952 in Seattle.
In the 1940 census he was married to Lois and had three sons, Keith, Jack and Daniel.
