Mrs. Carol Elaine Williams Templeton, age 71
Wife of my maternal 4th cousin & relative of my Williams Family
Obit: of Union Grove, passed away, Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Maple Leaf Healthcare.
Mrs. Templeton was born October 16, 1945 to the late Coy Lee Williams and Fay Blankenship Williams. She was a graduate of Iredell County schools and on May 5, 1962 she was married to the late LeRoy Templeton, who passed away in 2012. She was a member of Sweet Home Baptist and was the longest surviving dialysis patient in Iredell County.
She is survived by one daughter, Marilyn T. Rash (Randy) of Union Grove, brothers, Avery Williams (Krista) of Union Grove, her twin brother, Gerald Williams (Paulette) of San Diego, CA, Robert Williams of Cleveland, NC, two granddaughters, Melissa Fulford (Frank), Amber Houser, one grandson, Matthew Rash, one sister-in-law, Gail Williams of Harmony and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband of 50 years, she was preceded in death by one brother, James Williams.
Funeral services will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Smith Chapel Methodist Church in Union Grove, NC with Rev. Howard Wagoner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 3:00-4:00 p.m. at the church. Active pallbearers will be Matthew Rash, Randy Rash, Robert Williams, Aaron Williams, Avery Williams and Austin Williams.
