She was born January 2, 1942, the daughter of Evan and Thais (Cates) Hartman in Bath.
Sharon was educated in local schools.
Sharon worked in several industries throughout her life, most notably as a stitcher making children's clothing for Healthtex.
She will be best remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was a proud member of The American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
She loved spending time with her family bird watching, she especially loved doves, she loved to cook and she loved her cat dearly.
Sharon is predeceaseed by her parents.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Donald E. Holt, Sr., her son Donald E. Holt, Jr., and his wife Judy Normand of Litchfield. Her grandchildren, Heather Weiss and her husband David, of Lewiston, Donald E. Holt III of Falmouth, Roberta Ackley and her husband Frank of Sumner. Her great grandchildren, Ethan, Anna and Andrew Weiss. As well as many nieces and nephews, Laurie, Stanley and Jonathan were very close to Sharon's heart.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at Forest Hill Cemetery in Madison.
