Mrs. Mary E. Armstrong, one of the oldest and most highly esteemed women of Prattville, died at her home on Thursday of last week.
The deceased was the widow of Mr. Peter E. Armstrong, who for many years was one of the most familiar figures and popular citizens of Autauga county. Everybody knew and loved him. With his laughter and smiles he brought sunshine into hundreds of lives. The deceased was 74 years of age. She leaves surviving her one sister, Mrs. Ann E. Ward of Prattville, and two sons, Wm. E.
