Decatur-Betty Jane Rambo, 89, of Decatur, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 in Fair Havens Christian Home.

Betty was born January 20, 1928 in Hammond, Illinois, the daughter of Fred and Mable (Jones) Rambo Sr. She retired from Millikin Bank after forty-three and a half years of service. Betty enjoyed bowling, golfing, and serving as a golf ranger.

Betty leaves behind her nieces Lesa Andrick, Lori (Fred) Smith, Linda (Bill) Wiseman, Barb (Howard) Reynolds, Vivian Stiner, Mabel Willis, and Sandra (Dale) Hubner and nephews Matthew (Diane) Andrick, Scott (Carla) Andrick, Sam (Ruby) Andrick and Homer (Marilyn) Rambo.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, brother Fred “June” Rambo Jr., sisters Beulah Andrick, Lucille Carson, Ila Butt, and Vivian Shirley, nieces Wanda Hettinger, Shirley Grove, Beverly Ozier, and Janice Hord, and nephew Ron Shirley.

Services to celebrate Betty’s life will be 11:00 AM Friday, April 14, 2017 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials are suggested the American Heart Association.
