Son of Elmer and Leola (O'Bryan) Bachtel. Daniel was a graduate of Keytesville High School Class of 1969. He attended the University of Missouri for two years. Mr. Bachtel lived the past 20 years in Independence, Missouri, moving there from Moberly, Missouri where resided from 1979 till 1985. He was involved in the wholesale lumber business for many years. He was a member of the Keytesville Baptist Church in Keytesville, Missouri.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury. Visitation was from 5 till 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Organist: Maxine Imgarten
Pallbearers: (Nephews)Gerald Penton, Derrick, Darrell, Dustin Bachtel, Ryan and Patrick Taylor, and Jeff Imgarten.
