The PEI Marriage Records show Benjamin Bowness was residing in Montrose, Lot 3, Prince County in 1877 when he married Barbara Ann Cole, a resident of Bedeque. In 1881 Benjamin was working as a blacksmith and farmer. In 1901 Benjamin was farming in Lot 3 at Montrose. The census enumeration shows the residents and their declared birth dates as head Benjamin (b:5-9-1852), wife Barbara (b:11-23-1850) and five children - "Daisy" Martha (b:7-31-1880), Otto (b:1-25-1884), George (b:6-4-1886), Fred (b:3-2-1888) & Irene (b:6-11-1895) ~ ~ ~The PARO 1926 Registrations Book RG19/s2/ss6 shows Benjamin Bowness died at age 74 in his residence at Alberton, Prince County on Oct 11 1926.
