Dick, age 101, passed away at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville. He was the son of Edwin I. and Laura (Bricker) Morris. He married Maxine Cummings on May 6, 1952, at Rev. Joe Brewster's home near Harrisonville. He served in the US Army Air Forces during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his wife and his son, Mike Morris. He is survived by his daughters, Becky Randall, Patty Giebler, and Debra Amerson, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held January 18, 2024, at Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville. Burial, with military honors, will be in Wills Cemetery in Peculiar.
