• Graveside services for Allie Joice Craig will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at McAlister Cemetery with the Pastor John Wyley officiating.

On Thursday morning June 7, at 1 a.m., Allie Joice Craig passed to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after a two-year struggle with cancer. She was born Feb. 17, 1939, at Overbrook.

She as a member of Springer Missionary Baptist Church and was employed by Mercy Memorial Hospital as a switchboard operator until she was diagnosed with terminal cancer in May of 1999. She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy Blankenship and Eva Clemaline Blankenship.

She is survived by her five children, Mike Callentine of Overbrook, Anita Shankles and her husband, Troy, of Burneyville, Glen Callantine of Ardmore, Carla Whaley of Ardmore, and Sandra Hayes of Overbrook; seven grandchildren, William Shankles, Ryan Shankles, Whittney Hayes, Skylur Whaley, Sarah Hayes, John Hayes and Houston Whaley; her sisters, Emaline Roberts of Dickson and Wanamae Schmidt of Marsden, Okla.; nieces, Susan Nabors, and Cathy Hopes; nephews, Lyndon Schmidt, Mark Schmidt, Carl Barnes and Chris Barnes; grandnieces, Crystal Hopes, Kimberly Hopes and Jennifer Hopes.

Pallbearers will be Mike and Glen Callentine, Troy and William Shankles, and Carl and Chris Barnes. Alternate pallbearers will be Bobby Nabors, Bob Nunnelee, Grandville Ratliff and Francis Roberts. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Shankles and Skylur Whaley.

Craddock Funeral Home will direct services.
