Joy M. Spencer, age 64, of Buffalo, died Tuesday, July 13, 2004, at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital after a long illness. Born October 19, 1939, in Buffalo, she was the daughter of Charles W. Spencer and Mabel Croad.
She was the beloved companion of James A. Schwab; mother of Dawn (Joseph) Cmor and Brian E. Nitkowski; grandmother of Jessica Cmor and Christeen (Brandon) James; daughter of Mabel Hilton and the late Charles (Dolores) Spencer; and sister of Diana L. Spencer, Charles R. Spencer, and the late James F. Spencer. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 3-5 PM Thursday only at the Hamp Funeral Home, Inc., Adam & Seymour Streets, Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Friday at St. Timothy R.C. Church on East Park and Ensminger Roads in the Town of Tonawanda. Friends invited.
